Sealing profile made of EPDM - microcellular rubber U-shaped

Microcellular profiles made of EPDM rubber (ethylene – propylene – diene) with inorganic and organic additives are used everywhere where, for various reasons, it is not possible to use compact types of sealing profiles. By their mechanical, physical and chemical properties they are intended for sealing structural and construction parts in various industry sectors, as well as for seals for the automotive industry.

The profile withstands weather influences in the temperature range of -40 to +70 °C without a change in physical, mechanical and chemical properties. The surface of the profile is smooth, the colour is black with small white particles on the surface. The profiles are standardly produced in a hardness of 20 +/-10 °ShA, thanks to which they are soft and adapt well to the shape of the sealed gap.

The U-shape of the profile allows simple sliding onto the edge of the sealed part. We supply it as cut-to-length material with a minimum order of 1 metre. Microcellular profiles are available to order also in various further shapes and sizes listed in the relevant downloadable catalogue, and by agreement production of a shape according to the customer's specific needs is also possible.
