Product description

Sealing profile EPDM round with groove is a seal made of compact EPDM rubber designed for reliable sealing of structural and construction parts. We supply it as cut-to-length material with a minimum order of 1 metre.

The profile is made on the basis of ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM) with inorganic and organic additives. Thanks to its compact structure it does not let air through and has practically no water absorption, which makes it a reliable seal even in more demanding conditions.

EPDM excellently withstands weather influences and within the temperature range of -40 to +100 °C it retains its physical, mechanical and chemical properties. In the short term it withstands exposure to temperatures up to +130 °C, but premature ageing of the material must be expected.

The surface of the profile is smooth, the colour is black and it is standardly produced in a hardness of 70 °ShA. The round shape with a groove makes fitting the seal into a joint easier.
