A self-adhesive seal in a brown 2-strip version with a D-profile made of microporous EPDM rubber seals windows and doors against draughts, cold, moisture and noise. It is sold cut-to-length (by the running metre) or in complete packs.
The seal is made of microporous EPDM rubber, which is airtight, almost non-absorbent and distinguished by high resistance to weather influences. On the underside it has a self-adhesive layer, which allows quick and very easy installation without tools – the seal reliably stays in its intended place.
The D-profile has a height of 7.5 mm and a width of 9.0 mm and is suitable for a gap width of 3.0 to 7.0 mm. It is suitable for metal, plastic and wooden frames and door frames. When choosing, consider the size of the gap that needs to be filled: the seal must be adequately high and of sufficient length so that it seals perfectly and at the same time does not obstruct the closing of the window or door.
We supply complete packs (standard length 50 m) or cut-to-length in the stated number of strips. Since this is a two-strip version, one running metre (rm) equals two metres of seal. The minimum order is 0.5 rm.

For what gap width is the D-profile suitable?
The D-profile is intended for a gap width of 3.0 to 7.0 mm. For smaller gaps the E-profile (2.0 – 3.5 mm) or the P-profile (3.0 – 5.0 mm) is more suitable.
How much seal do I get when ordering one running metre?
This is a 2-strip version, therefore one running metre (rm) equals two metres of seal. We sell the seal cut-to-length with a minimum order of 0.5 rm or as a complete pack.
Are glue or tools needed for installation?
No. The seal has a self-adhesive layer on the underside, so installation is quick and easy without additional tools or glue – just stick it onto a clean and dry surface.
