Product description

Self-adhesive white seal with a P-profile made of microporous EPDM rubber in a 2-strip version, which reliably seals windows and doors. We sell it cut-to-length by the running metre or in complete packs.

This seal is made of microporous EPDM rubber, which is airtight, almost non-absorbent and distinguished by high resistance to weather influences. Thanks to the self-adhesive layer on the underside it sticks on quickly and easily and reliably stays in its intended place – on metal, plastic and wooden frames and door frames.

The P-profile with a height of 5.5 mm and a width of 9 mm is intended for gaps with a width of 3.0 to 5.0 mm. A correctly chosen seal prevents draughts and the penetration of moisture, cold, dust and noise into interior spaces, while not obstructing the closing of the window or door. The seal withstands working temperatures from -30 °C to +80 °C, the self-adhesive layer up to +72 °C.

We supply it as complete packs or cut-to-length in the stated number of strips. In the 2-strip version one running metre (rm) equals two metres of seal. The minimum order is 0.5 rm, the standard pack is 50 m long.

Main advantages

  • EPDM material – microporous rubber with high resistance to weather influences.
  • Self-adhesive layer – allows quick and very easy installation without additional glue.
  • 2-strip version – one running metre provides two metres of seal, which increases yield.
  • Airtight and almost non-absorbent – prevents the penetration of moisture, draughts, dust and noise.
  • Wide temperature range – reliable function from -30 °C to +80 °C.
  • Universal use – suitable for metal, plastic and wooden frames and door frames.

Use

  • Sealing windows against draughts and heat loss.
  • Sealing doors and door frames in interior as well as entrance spaces.
  • Preventing the penetration of dust, moisture and cold through gaps.
  • Damping noise penetrating through leaky frame joints.
  • Filling gaps with a width of 3.0 to 5.0 mm thanks to the P-profile.

Frequently asked questions

For what gap width is the P-profile suitable?

The P-profile is intended for gaps with a width of 3.0 to 5.0 mm. The seal must be adequately high and of sufficient length so that it seals perfectly and at the same time does not obstruct the closing of the window or door.

What does the 2-strip version mean when ordering cut-to-length?

In the two-strip version one running metre (rm) equals two metres of seal. You therefore order the number of running metres and receive double the length of the seal itself.

What is the minimum order and the pack length?

We supply the seal cut-to-length with a minimum order of 0.5 rm or as a complete pack with a standard length of 50 m.
