Product description

The sealing rubber strip EPDM with a thickness of 5 mm is a flat sealing profile of compact rubber based on ethylene-propylene-diene rubber, which we supply by the metre in precise lengths according to your needs.

The EPDM strip is made of compact rubber with inorganic and organic additives. It does not let air through and has practically zero water absorption, thanks to which it reliably seals structural and building parts. The profile surface is smooth and the standard colour is black.

The material withstands weather influences excellently within the temperature range -30 to +90 °C without a change in its physical, mechanical and chemical properties. The standard hardness of the strip is 70 °ShA.

We supply the strip by the metre with a minimum order of 1 metre, with the maximum length of a single strip being 10 m. You can choose from widths of 50 mm, 80 mm and 100 mm – the price shown applies to 1 running metre in the chosen width. EPDM sealing profiles are also available to order in other shapes and sizes from the catalogue; by arrangement, production of a shape according to the customer's specific needs is also possible.

Main advantages

  • Weather resistance - EPDM easily withstands outdoor influences in the range -30 to +90 °C.

  • Impermeability to air - compact rubber reliably seals and prevents air leakage.

  • Minimal water absorption - practically zero water absorption preserves the properties even in a damp environment.

  • Smooth surface - a flat and clean profile ensures a tight and aesthetic fit.

  • Three widths to choose from - 50, 80 or 100 mm, with the same compact rubber quality in every width.

  • Made to measure - we supply by the metre from 1 metre, so you buy exactly as much as you need.

  • Stable hardness 70 °ShA - balanced flexibility and strength for demanding sealing applications.

Use

  • Sealing of structural and building parts in various industrial sectors.

  • Seals for light fittings.

  • Sealing of expansion joints.

  • Sealing when covering with polycarbonate.

  • Seals for air-conditioning systems.

  • Construction, mechanical engineering, food and automotive industry.
