EPDM Rubber Strip with Insert 8 mm x 100 mm

The strip is made of compact rubber based on ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM) with inorganic and organic additives and with a reinforcing textile insert. The profile is airtight and has practically zero water absorption, thanks to which it reliably seals both structural and building parts in various industrial sectors.

The material resists weather effects within a temperature range of -40 to +100 °C without a change in its physical, mechanical and chemical properties. It withstands short-term exposure to temperatures up to +130 °C, at which, however, premature ageing must be expected. The surface of the profile is smooth, the colour is black and the standard hardness is 70 °ShA.

We supply the strip by the metre in a maximum strip length of 10 m. On request, EPDM sealing profiles are also available in other shapes and sizes listed in the relevant downloadable catalogue; by arrangement, a shape can also be manufactured according to the customer's specific needs.
