Product description
Rubber sealing EPDM strip with textile insert in the size 8 mm x 50 mm is a resistant seal made of compact rubber, which we supply by the metre cut to size with a minimum order of 1 metre.
The strip is made of compact rubber based on ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM) with inorganic and organic additives and is reinforced with a textile insert, which increases its dimensional stability. The material is airtight and has practically zero water absorption, thanks to which it reliably seals structural and building parts in various industrial sectors.
EPDM excellently resists weather effects within a temperature range from -40 to +100 °C without a change in its physical, mechanical and chemical properties. It withstands short-term exposure to temperatures up to +130 °C, but premature ageing of the material must be expected. The surface of the profile is smooth, the colour black and the standard hardness 70 °ShA.
We supply the strip by the metre, with the maximum length of a single strip being 10 m. On request, EPDM sealing profiles are also available in other shapes and sizes according to the catalogue, or, by arrangement, a shape can be manufactured according to the customer's specific needs.
