Product description
EPDM rubber strip with textile insert in the size 8 mm x 40 mm is a sealing strip made of compact rubber, which we supply by the metre (minimum order 1 metre) and which reliably seals both structural and building joints.
The strip is made of compact rubber based on ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM) with inorganic and organic additives and with a reinforcing textile insert. The material is airtight and has practically zero water absorption, thanks to which it creates a permanently tight joint. The surface of the profile is smooth and the colour is black.
The strip retains its physical, mechanical and chemical properties in a temperature range from -40 °C to +100 °C, and can withstand +130 °C for a short time (with the risk of premature ageing). The standard hardness is 70 °ShA. It is supplied cut to the required length, with the maximum length of a single strip being 10 m.
EPDM is among the materials with high resistance to weather effects, which is why it is also suitable for the exterior. EPDM sealing profiles are available on request in other shapes and dimensions according to the catalogue, and by arrangement we can also arrange the manufacture of a shape according to the customer's specific needs.
