EPDM Rubber Strip with Insert 8 mm x 30 mm

The strip is made of compact rubber based on ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM) with inorganic and organic additives and is reinforced with a textile insert, which increases the shape stability of the profile. The material is airtight and has practically zero water absorption, thanks to which it reliably seals the joints of structural and building parts.

The profile resists weather effects within a temperature range of -40 to +100 °C without changing its physical, mechanical and chemical properties. It withstands short-term exposure to temperatures up to +130 °C, but premature ageing must be expected. The surface of the profile is smooth, the colour is black and the standard hardness is 70 °ShA.

We supply the strip cut-to-length with a minimum order of 1 metre and a maximum strip length of 10 m. On request, EPDM sealing profiles are also available in other shapes and sizes listed in the relevant catalogue; by arrangement, a shape can also be manufactured according to the customer's specific needs.
