EPDM Rubber Strip with Insert 5 mm x 100 mm

The strip is made of rubber based on ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM) with inorganic and organic additives and is reinforced with a textile insert, which increases the shape stability of the strip. The material is airtight and has practically zero water absorption, which makes it a reliable seal even in demanding operations.

EPDM stands out for its resistance to weather effects, ozone and UV radiation. The strip retains its physical, mechanical and chemical properties within a temperature range of −40 to +100 °C and can withstand short-term exposure to temperatures up to +130 °C (with the risk of premature ageing). The surface of the profile is smooth, the colour is black and the standard hardness is 70 °ShA.

We supply the strip cut-to-length, with the maximum length of a single strip being 10 m. On request, EPDM sealing profiles are also available in other shapes and sizes listed in the relevant catalogue; by arrangement, a shape can also be manufactured according to the customer's specific needs.
