Product description

EPDM rubber strip with textile insert in the dimension 5 mm x 80 mm is a sealing profile of compact rubber on a base of ethylene-propylene-diene rubber. We supply it as a cut length – you buy exactly as many metres as you need.

The strip is made of compact EPDM rubber with inorganic and organic additives and reinforced with a textile insert. Thanks to its mechanical, physical and chemical properties it is intended for sealing structural and building parts in various branches of industry.

The material does not let air through and has practically zero water absorption. It resists weather influences in the temperature range -40 to +100 °C without a change of physical, mechanical and chemical properties. In the short term it withstands exposure to temperatures up to +130 °C, while premature ageing of the material must be expected.

The surface of the profile is smooth, the colour black and the standard hardness is 70 °ShA. The maximum length of one strip is 10 m, the minimum order is 1 metre.
