EPDM rubber strip with insert 3 mm x 100 mm

The strip is made of compact rubber on a base of ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM) with inorganic and organic additives and is reinforced with a textile insert, which increases the dimensional stability of the strip. By its mechanical, physical and chemical properties it is intended for reliable sealing of structural and building parts in various branches of industry.

The material does not let air through and has practically zero water absorption. The strip resists weather influences in the temperature range -40 to +100 °C without a change of physical, mechanical and chemical properties and also withstands short-term exposure to temperatures up to +130 °C (with the risk of premature ageing). The surface of the profile is smooth, the colour is black and the standard hardness is 70 °ShA.

We supply the strip in one piece with a maximum strip length of 10 m. EPDM sealing profiles are also available to order in further shapes and sizes according to the catalogue, or we can make a shape according to the customer's specific needs.
