EPDM rubber strip with insert 3 mm x 50 mm

The strip is made of compact EPDM rubber with inorganic and organic additives, supplemented with a textile insert, which increases the dimensional stability of the profile. The surface is smooth, the colour black and the standard hardness reaches 70 °ShA. The profile does not let air through and has practically zero water absorption, thanks to which it keeps its sealing properties even outdoors.

EPDM material excellently resists weather influences in the temperature range -40 to +100 °C without a change of physical, mechanical and chemical properties. In the short term it withstands exposure to temperatures up to +130 °C, but premature ageing must be expected. We supply the strip as a cut length, the minimum order is 1 metre and the maximum length of one strip is 10 m.

EPDM sealing profiles are also available to order in further shapes and sizes according to the catalogue. Upon agreement, production of a shape directly according to the customer's specific needs is possible.
