EPDM/SBR gasket sheet, width 1200 mm, with one insert, tensile strength 5 MPa

The sheet is made from EPDM synthetic rubber with one textile insert, which gives it dimensional stability and higher mechanical resistance. It is characterised by good mechanical properties and is intended mainly for outdoor use, where it is exposed to the weather.

EPDM material is highly resistant to ozone, UV radiation and weather influences and withstands working temperatures in the range of -40 °C to +100 °C. It is partially resistant to alkalis and acids, and it is not resistant to oils and petrol. The standard colour is black, the density of the material is 1,5 g/cm³ and the hardness 65 ± 5 °ShA.

We supply the sheet either as a whole roll 10 bm long, or by the metre – a cut from the roll width of 1200 mm, where 1 running metre corresponds to 1,2 m². Thicknesses from 1,5 to 20 mm are available; at a thickness of 30 mm the maximum roll length is 5 m. The minimum order is 0,5 bm, i.e. 0,6 m².

Is the EPDM sheet suitable for contact with oils or petrol?
