Product description
CR/SBR rubber sealing sheet in a width of 1200 mm with one textile insert is a universal seal for flanges, joints and closures. We sell it by the metre (per m²) from a roll 1200 mm wide in thicknesses from 1,5 to 20 mm.
The sheet is made on a CR/SBR rubber base in standard quality for general use and has good mechanical properties. Thanks to one textile insert it gains higher dimensional stability and strength compared to a smooth sheet without an insert, which you will appreciate with seals stressed by pressure.
The material is mildly resistant to weather, ozone, UV radiation, acids and alkalis, therefore it is suitable for ordinary operations without special requirements for chemical resistance. The sheet is not resistant to oils or petrol. The hardness reaches 65 ± 5 °ShA, tensile strength 5 MPa and the working temperature range is from -20 °C to +80 °C.
The prices in the table refer to the unit of measure m² in the chosen thickness. We supply whole rolls 10 linear metres long or as cut length — by cutting from a roll 1200 mm wide, where 1 linear metre (lin. m) = 1,2 m². The minimum order is 0,5 lin. m, i.e. 0,6 m².
Main benefits
- Textile insert - one textile layer increases the strength and dimensional stability of the sheet under pressure stress.
- Universal CR/SBR material - a proven rubber base with good mechanical properties for general sealing purposes.
- Mild resistance to the environment - withstands weather, ozone, UV radiation, acids and alkalis in ordinary operations.
- Wide temperature range - usable from -20 °C to +80 °C without loss of sealing properties.
- Sold to measure - cutting by the metre from a roll 1200 mm wide from 0,5 lin. m, you pay only for what you need.
- Wide choice of thicknesses - available in 11 thicknesses from 1,5 mm to 20 mm for various sealing gaps.
Use
- Sealing flange joints of pipes and fittings.
- Sealing covers, lids and closures of technological equipment.
- Washers and damping seals in engineering.
- Sealing tanks and reservoirs without contact with oils and fuels.
- Universal seals in maintenance and repairs without special chemical requirements.
Frequently asked questions
What resistance does the sheet have to oils and petrol?
The CR/SBR material is not resistant to oils or petrol. For contact with oils we recommend choosing a seal made of a more suitable material.
How is the sheet sold and what is the minimum order?
The sheet is sold per m² by cutting from a roll 1200 mm wide. One linear metre corresponds to 1,2 m², the minimum order is 0,5 lin. m, i.e. 0,6 m². We will also supply a whole roll 10 lin. m long.
What is the range of working temperatures?
The sheet is usable in the range from -20 °C to +80 °C, which covers ordinary industrial as well as operating conditions.
