Product description
The SBR sealing sheet 1200 mm wide with one textile insert is the most affordable rubber sealing sheet for general use. It is sold by the metre as a cut from a 1200 mm wide roll and charged per square metre (m²).
The sealing sheet is made on an SBR rubber base and is reinforced with one textile insert. It is intended for ordinary sealing applications without special requirements for resistance to aggressive environmental influences.
We supply the sheet either as a full roll 10 linear metres long or by the metre, cut from a 1200 mm wide roll. When ordering by the metre, the conversion 1 linear metre = 1,2 m² applies. The minimum order is 0,5 linear metres, i.e. 0,6 m². The standard hardness of the material is 65 ± 5 °ShA and the tensile strength is 3 MPa at an elongation of 150 %.
The sheet is available in several thicknesses from 1,5 mm up to 20 mm, so you can choose the right version for your specific application.
Main advantages
The most affordable alternative – the ideal choice for ordinary sealing without special resistance requirements.
Textile insert reinforcement – the sheet contains one textile insert.
Wide choice of thicknesses – from 1,5 mm to 20 mm, so you will find exactly the version for your application.
Sold to measure – buy exactly as much as you need (from 0,5 linear metres), or a full roll of 10 linear metres.
Tensile strength 3 MPa – at an elongation of 150 % it handles ordinary mechanical loads.
Working temperature –25 °C to +80 °C – suitable for indoor and ordinary technical environments.
Applications
Static sealing of flanges and joints without chemical resistance requirements.
Sealing and spacing washers in mechanical engineering and maintenance.
Damping and sealing during the assembly of technological units.
Production of sealing elements by cutting to the required size.
Ordinary sealing applications indoors and in dry environments.
Frequently asked questions
How are the price and quantity of the sealing sheet calculated?
The price refers to the unit of measure m² in the chosen thickness. We supply full rolls 10 linear metres long or cut to length from the 1200 mm roll width, where 1 linear metre corresponds to 1,2 m². The minimum order is 0,5 linear metres, i.e. 0,6 m².
Is this sheet resistant to oils, acids or weathering?
No. This is an SBR sheet for general use without special resistance – it is not intended for contact with oil, petrol, acids or alkalis, nor for exposure to ozone, UV radiation or weathering.
Which thicknesses are available?
The sheet is available in thicknesses of 1,5; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 8; 10; 12; 15 and 20 mm. You choose the thickness directly when ordering and the price per m² varies according to the chosen thickness.
