NR sealing sheet - para rubber in pieces, tensile strength 18 MPa

The sealing sheet is made of a vulcanised elastomer based on natural rubber (para rubber), which is characterised by excellent mechanical properties, high elasticity and increased abrasion resistance. Thanks to the tensile strength of 18 MPa and elongation of 100 % it withstands mechanical stress and repeated deformation well.

The material has a hardness of 40 ± 5 °ShA, density of 2 g/cm³ and a beige colour. The working temperature ranges from -40 °C to +80 °C, so the sheet is suitable even for colder operations. It is highly resistant to abrasion and mildly resistant to alkalis as well as acids.

We supply the sheet exclusively as whole pieces in the sizes and thicknesses stated in the table - as standard in a thickness of 20 mm. It is not intended for permanent contact with oils or petrol and is not resistant to weather or UV radiation.

Frequently asked questions

Is the NR sealing sheet resistant to oils and petrol?

No. The material based on natural rubber is not resistant to oils or petrol, therefore we do not recommend using it where there is permanent contact with these substances.

In what size and thickness do you supply the sheet?

We supply only whole pieces in the standard size of 1.000 mm x 1.000 mm. The standard thickness is 20 mm; the sizes and thicknesses stated in the table are binding, we do not divide the sheet by the metre.

What does the stated price refer to?

The price in the table refers to the unit of measure - 1 m² of sealing sheet in the stated thickness.
