Product description
The EPDM rubber gasket sheet in a roll width of 1500 mm without a textile insert will serve you as a reliable seal resistant to weather — we sell it as cut-to-length goods, so you order exactly as much as you need.
The sheet is made on the basis of synthetic EPDM rubber and is characterised by high quality and good mechanical properties. It is resistant to high temperatures, weathering influences, ultraviolet radiation, acids as well as alkalis, thanks to which it is suitable especially for outdoor use.
The material has a hardness of 65 ± 5 °ShA, tensile strength of 5 MPa, elongation of 200 % and density of 1,5 g/cm³. The working temperature is in the range −40 °C to +100 °C. The sheet is black and is supplied in a standard width of 1500 mm.
The prices refer to the unit of measure m² in the chosen thickness. We supply whole rolls in a length of 10 running metres or cut-to-length goods — so you can order a cut from the roll width of 1500 mm, where 1 running metre (running metre) = 1,5 m². The minimum order is 0,5 running metres, i.e. 0,75 m².
Main advantages
- High resistance to weather — EPDM withstands weathering influences over the long term, so the sheet lasts even in the outdoor environment.
- Resistance to ozone and UV radiation — the material does not crack or lose its flexibility in direct sun.
- Wide temperature range −40 °C to +100 °C — suitable for frosty winters as well as hot summers.
- Sold as cut-to-length — you pay only for the m² you actually need, without unnecessary waste.
- Partial chemical resistance — it partially withstands the action of alkalis as well as acids, suitable for more demanding operations.
- Four thicknesses to choose from — from 3 mm to 6 mm you adapt the sheet to the specific seal.
Use
- Outdoor seals and washers resistant to weather.
- Sealing of joints, flanges and covers on machines and structures.
- Damping and sealing layers in construction.
- Sealing where resistance to ozone and UV is required.
- Linings and protective layers exposed to the outdoor environment.
Frequently asked questions
In what thicknesses is the sheet available?
The sheet is supplied in thicknesses 3 mm (4,5 kg/m²), 4 mm (6,0 kg/m²), 5 mm (7,5 kg/m²) and 6 mm (9,0 kg/m²). You choose the thickness directly when ordering.
How is the sheet sold and what is the minimum order?
It is sold by the m² as a cut from the roll width of 1500 mm, where 1 running metre corresponds to 1,5 m². The minimum order is 0,5 running metres, i.e. 0,75 m².
Is the sheet suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. Thanks to the EPDM material it is highly resistant to weather, ozone as well as UV radiation, which is why it is suitable especially for outdoor seals.
