Product description
The CR/SBR rubber sealing sheet 1500 mm wide, without a textile insert, is a universal sheet for general sealing that we sell by the square metre (m²) as a cut from the roll or as a whole roll. Choose a thickness of 3 to 6 mm according to how demanding your joint is.
The sheet is made on a CR/SBR rubber base of standard quality with good mechanical properties. It is intended for use without special requirements for resistance to adverse environmental influences. It is moderately resistant to weather, ozone, UV radiation, acids and alkalis; it is not resistant to oil and petrol.
The material has a hardness of 65 ± 5 °ShA, a tensile strength of 5 MPa and an elongation of 200 %. The density is 1,5 g/cm³ and the working temperature range extends from -20 °C to +80 °C. The sheet is black, without a textile insert, so it easily adapts to the shape of the sealed surface.
The prices in the table apply to the unit of measure m². We supply whole rolls 10 linear metres long or by the metre, so you can order a cut from the 1500 mm roll width, i.e. 1 linear metre = 1,5 m². The minimum order is 0,5 linear metres, i.e. 0,75 m².
Main advantages
Universal use – CR/SBR quality suits ordinary sealing without special environmental requirements.
Cut to measure – you buy exactly the length of cut you need from the 1500 mm roll width, with no unnecessary waste.
Choice of thickness from 3 to 6 mm – you match the resistance and the bridging of unevenness to the specific joint.
Wide temperature range – reliable performance from -20 °C to +80 °C.
Without a textile insert – the sheet is easier to shape and adapts to the sealing surface.
Applications
Sealing flanges, joints and covers without special environmental requirements.
Manufacture of flat gaskets and washers to measure.
Damping and packing in engineering and maintenance.
Bridging unevenness between mating surfaces.
Ordinary sealing applications indoors and outdoors with moderate weather exposure.
Frequently asked questions
How is this sealing sheet sold and what is the minimum order?
The sheet is sold per m². You order a cut from the 1500 mm roll width, where 1 linear metre corresponds to 1,5 m². The minimum order is 0,5 linear metres, i.e. 0,75 m². We can also supply a whole roll 10 linear metres long.
Is the sheet resistant to oil or petrol?
No. CR/SBR material is not resistant to oil or petrol. It is moderately resistant to weather, ozone, UV radiation, acids and alkalis. For contact with oils, a different material is more suitable.
Which thicknesses are available?
We offer the sheet in thicknesses of 3 mm (4,5 kg/m²), 4 mm (6,0 kg/m²), 5 mm (7,5 kg/m²) and 6 mm (9,0 kg/m²). You choose the thickness according to the load and the unevenness of the joint to be bridged.
Details of the dimensional tolerances for rubber products can be found in the shop footer.
