Product description

Microporous EPDM rubber 3 mm thick is an expanded (foamed) sealing sheet that we sell by the square metre (m²) — ideal for making soft seals and for damping vibration. The material stands out for its high resistance to weathering and UV radiation.

This microporous EPDM-based material is expanded (foamed), which gives it a low density of 115 ± 25 kg/m³ and excellent sealing and damping properties. It is intended for making soft seals, for sealing flanges and for damping vibration and noise in mechanical engineering and ventilation systems.

We supply it as cut goods with a roll width of 1 m (1.000 mm) in black. The goods are sold by the square metre in steps of 0,5 m². The required quantity can also be adjusted directly at the checkout.

In terms of chemical resistance, the sheet is highly resistant to weathering and UV radiation and partially resistant to alkalis and acids. It is not suitable for contact with oils or petrol.

What thickness, width and length does the sheet have?

The standard thickness is 3 mm, the roll width is 1 m (1.000 mm) and the roll length is 2 m (2.000 mm). The goods are supplied as cut goods and sold by the square metre.

Is this material resistant to oils?

No. Microporous EPDM rubber is not resistant to oils or petrol. It is, however, highly resistant to weathering and UV radiation and partially resistant to alkalis and acids.

What is the order quantity?

The minimum order is 0,5 m². Further quantities can be ordered in steps of 0,5 m² from the total roll length of 2m.
