MAFIX Alkacryl plexiglass PMMA adhesive is a professional clear fast-drying adhesive for plexiglass, which we sell in a practical aluminium tube with a content of 200 g (unit of sale: piece).
This special adhesive is based on PMMA (acrylic) - polymers in a solvent. Thanks to fast drying in the range of approximately 1 to 10 minutes, it allows smooth and efficient work when bonding plexiglass and profiles. After curing the joint remains clear, so it does not disturb the optical appearance of transparent materials.
Apply it at a temperature from 5 °C. The final setting time at 20 °C and 50 % relative air humidity is approximately 24 hours (reaching about 90 % strength), while the evaporation of the remaining parts of the solvent can take up to 8 weeks. These properties make the adhesive suitable for professional use in the advertising, furniture, automotive and electrotechnical industries.
