Rubber strip EPDM with insert 10 mm x 50 mm

The strip is made of compact EPDM rubber on the basis of ethylene-propylene-diene rubber with inorganic and organic additives. Thanks to its mechanical, physical and chemical properties it is intended for sealing structural and construction parts in various branches of industry. The built-in textile insert increases the strength of the material and gives the strip higher dimensional stability during installation.

The material does not let air through and has practically no water absorption. It resists weathering influences in the temperature range -40 to +100 °C without a change of its properties and briefly withstands exposure to temperatures up to +130 °C, at which, however, premature ageing must be expected. The surface of the profile is smooth, the colour is black and the standard hardness is 70 °ShA.

We sell the strip by the metre, the maximum length of one piece is 20 metres. On order, the EPDM sealing profiles are also available in other shapes and sizes according to the catalogue and, by agreement, production of a shape according to the specific needs of the customer is also possible.
