Hela rubber paving 500x500x25 mm

The paving has a smooth surface finish and a profiled underside that dampens impacts and vibrations. It represents a modern and ecological alternative to ordinary paving – it uses recycled rubber and provides a safe surface where a high critical fall height is not required, for example by slides and climbing frames.

Tiles with dimensions of 500 x 500 mm and a thickness of 25 mm have a weight of 16,7 kg/m² and reach a critical fall height (HIC) of 0,78 m. The paving is certified for children's playgrounds and complies with the STN EN 1177 and STN EN 1176 standards, as well as the criteria of safety on contact with the skin according to STN-EN ISO 10993-10. Three colours are available: black, red and green.

Installation

The profiled rubber paving can be installed on concrete, asphalt or in a compacted gravel bed. For installation on concrete or asphalt we recommend gluing the tiles or using cross connectors to prevent them from sliding. The gravel bed needs to be compacted and the tiles joined with cross connectors. To border the area we recommend kerbs, ramp edges or trims. Recommended accessories: 5 – 7 plastic connecting crosses per m².

One square metre consists of 4 tiles with dimensions of 500 x 500 mm. The stated price per m² therefore includes 4 pieces of paving.

What is the delivery time and method of delivery?

We make the paving to order with a delivery time of 14 days. We deliver it exclusively directly to the customer's address – personal collection at the shop is not possible in this case.
